  30. I've built myself a 2.0.34 kernel twice now, both hang in the same way;
  31. they get to `Now booting the kernel' and then stop.  I _suspect_ Russell
  32. has left the serial console enabled, but unfortunately I can't remember
  33. how to turn it off.  If anyone with greater insight than I would like
  34. to help, I'd be most grateful.  AFAIK Russell is now on holiday so can't
  35. fix this himself.
